Coffee Grinder with dial indicator

A more precise way to grind

I designed this prototype coffee grinder (shown above without handle) with a built-in dial indicator to precisely measure the displacement of the conical burrs that control ground coffee particle size.

It is made for 3D printing (the white enclosure) with Mazzer 63mm conical burr.

It features an offset stepless adjustment screw to precisely dial your espresso in.

Some of the components were driving the design decisions - eg: this extremely fine adjustment screw. and the size of the Mitutoyo dial indicator.
